Due to the central location of Nocera Umbra, it is the perfect starting point to discover the adjacent regions of Tuscany or Marche. Also, a lot of famous sights can be visited, for example Assisi is only a 20-minute drive. Orvierto, Montefalco, Perugia, Gubbio, Trevi, Spoleto, Spello, Bevangna and more significant sights are close by. Furthermore, you can spend a lovely day on the beach, through the renewed motor way you can reach the Mediterranean Sea conveniently within a one-hour drive. For a day trip to Rome, we recommend a Train ticket for 11,50 EUR directly from the Nocera Train station, you will arrive in the beautiful capital after a one-hour ride through one of Italy’s loveliest railway tracks. Do not forget to validate your ticket!

Viticulture
The viticulture in Nocera Umbra is one of the oldest traditions. This culture is passed on for generations and is taken care of by the Cantina Pasci. The Vineyards surrounding Nocera Umbra are producing a mild white wine and a wholesome red wine. We would be happy to organize a wine tasting with self-grown legumes and various homemade regional specialties.

If the weather is willing to support us, we can offer an olive harvest by the end of October, which is an incredible experience as well.
Hiking / Trekking
The local hiking club offers led trekking trips with different difficult levels. For 5 EUR p.P. you can come along and will also be insured. For more information, click here: trekkingnoceraumbra
Waterfalls
After a lovely hike for approximately 1,5 hours, you will reach the stunning waterfalls of Le Frecce, located below the village of Aggi.

Just a short walk from our apartments we recommend the ristorante Piazza Grande, serving traditional and tasty Italian food.
